It was no different in Game 7, as he did exactly what was needed of him to get the win by making big saves late, which allowed for Newhook to score the biggest goal of his NHL career thus far. With the win, Dobes now holds the record for most playoff road wins in Canadiens history after he surpassed both Ken Dryden and Patrick Roy, who each had 5.

The Montreal Canadiens are headed to the Conference Finals after a thrilling 3–2 overtime win in Game 7.
