Price joins hockey’s pantheon after a 15-year NHL career, all of it with Montreal. Having suited up for 712 games, he posted a 2.51 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage.
During his NHL journey, the Anahim Lake, BC, native set franchise records for games played (712) and wins (361) for a Habs netminder. He will become the 62nd member of the organization to be inducted into the Hall of Fame during a ceremony on November 9 in Toronto.

Eklund traded to Senators by Sharks for No. 9 pick in 2026 Draft
The Senators also received forward Kasper Halttunen and the rights to forward prospect Brandon Svoboda for the No. 9 pick in the 2026 NHL Draft, which Ottawa acquired from the Florida Panthers on Sunday in the trade for forward Brady Tkachuk.

Eklund just completed his third full NHL season with the Sharks, putting up 53 points (15 goals, 38 assists) in 78 games. The 23-year-old forward, who was selected by San Jose with the No. 7 pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, has 163 points (50 goals, 113 assists) in 252 games.

Eklund is entering the first season of a three-year, $16.8 million contract ($5.6 million average annual value) he signed with the Sharks on July 1, 2025.

Nemec traded to Flames by Devils for draft picks, Morin
The Devils also sent Maxim Tsyplakov  to the Flames for conditional first-round picks in the 2027 NHL Draft and 2028 NHL Draft, a second-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft and defenseman prospect Etienne Morin. Both conditional picks are top 10 protected.

Nemec, a 22-year-old defenseman, had an NHL career-high 26 points (11 goals, 15 assists) in 68 games this season. He completed his entry-level contract and can become a restricted free agent July 1. 

The No. 2 pick in the 2022 NHL Draft, Nemec has 49 points (16 goals, 33 assists) in 155 regular-season games and two points (one goal, one assist) in four Stanley Cup Playoff games. He's the highest Slovakia-born defenseman taken in the NHL Draft, had two assists in six games for fourth-place Team Slovakia at the 2026 Winter Olympics and helped his country win its first Olympic hockey medal at the 2022 Beijing Games.
